On the night before he died, Jesus prayed that we would be one as he and his Father are
one so that the world might believe in him. As his followers, we are either working to achieve
this unity so that his prayer would be answered or we are working to hinder his work of love and
unity.
For too many centuries, leaders in the Church, and in churches, sects, and denominations,
seem to have been more interested in propagating and furthering their own theologies and
adgendas than in building up the Church in love.
It is time to repent and to change. It can no longer be a matter of who is right and who is
wrong. We must get back to the mind of Jesus and what he had in mind when he established his
Church to continue his work "so that the world might believe." The only way to do this is by the
way of humility, of giving up positions, doctrines, and fears that keep us apart from one another.
Pride of position must give way to the lowliness of servants who hear the Master's voice and
follow it.
This book is a collection of articles and other information that attempts to focus on issues
that have divided the Church for too long so that we can begin the process of working toward
the unity for which Jesus prayed. Like Jesus, we must be about our Father's business.
